AWCEO m7 20250921 PFF000 PANC CKU - JoaoPaz - 09-21-2025

Hi guys!

Here's my Sunday flight, relaxing and sightseeing, exploring the cockpit;
Anchorage PANC to Cordova CKU
Going East over Turnagain Air and climbing above Chugach State Park; then followed Prince William Sound and a flyby over Hawkins Island.
Turning back to Eyak Lake for the approach to rwy 27.
I'm on my way to grab a nice cup of coffee at this wonderful place!

Thank you, Pete!

All freeware, aside the Global Forests pack (which wasn't that expensive anyway). Best thing is that you load the sim and it works Cool

Joao,

I think the software company that makes XP-12 should be paying you for all the wonderful and pure amazing advertising screenshots!!

Are the ground textures especially the screenshot showing a local road around bottom of the mountain XP-12 default ground textures or add on textures?

Thanks, Aharon!

Those textures are satellite images from Google Maps, streamed to X-Plane 12 in real time (just like I believe it happens with MSFS2024) by a freeware app called X Map Enhancement - you can also use Bing Maps but I kinda like Google's colors best.

Then I have X-World America (freeware) and Global Forests v2 (payware).

This is what you're seeing there.
A big plus is X-Plane lighting - amazing and super realistic.

(current install + textures in cache = 211 GB)

Joao,

Thanks for very interesting answers and great tips on add-on softwares.

I am kind of surprised that XP-12 looks as good as MS2020 or MS2024!!!!
