Hi Don!
So great you posted this. This project was on pause due to the Iditarod but I guess it will make a nice Winter activity - keep posting these. Hope you had fun!
You screenshots look amazing!

Will do Joao.

I like the idea of starting at the start and progressing through advanced Bush Pilot training.

Much of what you post re: these training flights: are taught in rw flight training.

Keep on!

Don

Thank you Don!
I have already a nice outline for the overall project - covering most of Alaska's specifics for bush flying - but the devil is in the details Wink

Joao,
Your X-Plane 12 scenery is so much better than default.

What scenery are you using?

Hi Don!

Here you go:

X-Plane Map Enhancement
-> https://x-plane.to/file/1559/x-plane-map-enhancement
This covers the world in your sim with Google/Bing/Other maps. It is freeware with a paid option for better maps/resolutions, but the freeware works fine.
I'll file this one under Essentials.

X-World America + Vegetation Lirary
-> https://simheaven.com/package/x-world-america/
-> https://simheaven.com/package/x-world-ve...n-library/
It has a paid version coming out in a few weeks but I think you can still get ver3 at their website. Huge downloads but worth every byte Smile This puts buildings and vegetation in their right places, with proper types, height proflies, etc - I think it gets is data from DSM databases. It is different that the old sims' autogen, as this isn't random.
Algo goes under Eessentials!

GeoReality Global Forests v2
-> https://orbxdirect.com/product/georeality-forests-xp12
Replaces default vegetation with better/more trees, forests, etc. Great looking but probably not necessary as default already looks great.

Alaska by Air
-> https://forums.x-plane.org/files/file/84...ka-by-air/
This populates hundreds of aiports/small airstrips through the whole Alaska and makes it come alive.
This is already asomewhat old package and some current default airports may even look better - but it does something I love: makes gravel/grass/runways/taxiways transparent, without those unrealistic frame limits. .. and then I have Google Maps showing in those places Smile
For now I'd say this belongs with Essentials for me as well.
