Alaska Airlines trip from Anchorage to Nome

And as I used to say "There's no place Nome", or maybe "Home, sweet Nome" 

On your "on finals" picture one can "almost" see the old Alaskan Winds Nome HUB, to your right 

I wish I knew how to fly these birds .. life is too short! But maybe I'll get there one day!
