I am SHOCKED and SURPRISED to see how amazing XP-12 is!!! I never knew that XP-12 would be as good as MS2020/MMS2024!!  If anybody outside of Alaska Winds see those screenshots, they would be running to buy XP-12!!!!

Amazing screenshots.  Got to love realistic looking mountains which is holy grail for any FSX user such as me who cannot find any add on to make mountains sharp and realistic even with use of Orbx!

Believe me, from what I've seen X-Plane is much better than my screenshots  I'm just using a couple of addons. 
The problem with the old MS simulators (FS9, FSX) is that textures are really small and you can't avoid them looking very repetitive, specially if you fly at high FLs. 
...Unless you find some sort of photorealistic addon for the area you're flying.


Having said that I must say that with some teaks I was always very pleased with my FS9 mountains. I had FSGenesis mesh for the whole Alaska and ended up mixing some textures and creating my own - and really love flying the mountains on FS9 ... alas, I love all FS9!
