Some X-Plane payware (not sure if it's the case with this one) have the option to add wear signs to paint and even change slightly the flight dynamics of the aircraft. Actually I think this is one of those cases. Will have to check.

About the PAGG scenery what you're seeing is an addon that is constantly downloading textures from the internet into X-Plane - like MSFS2020/2024 do, I believe. Then I can choose from Google Maps, Bing, etc. In this case I was testing the Apple Maps and really liked the result!
