AW838 C208 20251106 PFF000 330
#1
Arrived on the ramp at PANC around 0200 local. Pre-flight and planning completed for repositioning flight of Cessna 208 N211AK to PAKI. Filed IFR at 12,000ft and departed from runway 33. Enroute, we picked up occasional rime ice with accumulations requiring deployment of the boots multiple times. Otherwise, it was uneventful. Landed at PAKI via RNAV/GPS 35 approach. Landed in VFR conditions with blowing snow. Will coordinate with company reps for medevac transport as needed.

Dep/Dest: PANC-PAKI
Route: YONEK DCT TORTE DCT ICEVO DCT AKGAS DCT ACRAN DCT SCALP DCT FISHH DCT OSE DCT ZESKA
Aircraft: C208
Total Time: 3:30

Short final to 35. Very dark night. Held some extra speed as the winds were pretty stiff out of the NW.

Awsome, Gerard  Cool
Winds have been quite challenging lately all around the state... it seems!

Are you going to out now on one of the AER flights?

Suppose that's the Thranda 208? I just read Dan Klaue's interview and was really impressed with it https://forums.x-plane.org/forums/topic/...da-design/
How do you like that one?

Back to topic, I'm considering a special AW badge for those completing the 5 AER flights - in case you're interested  Wink

Best!

Yes, actually about to file the AER flight I just landed. Smile

Yes, that's the XP11 Thranda that works well in XP12. Wish the Kodiak did. The Thranda planes are very well done. Some of my favorite XP aircraft.
